An obscure
and cutting edge "Heavy Metal" band, Moe Funk, was on tour
in the desert southwest in the summer of '42 when it happened. Notorious
in the southwest and parts of Mexico for their death-rock style cult jams,
the band was on their way to their next gig just outside of Roswell
New Mexico to rock for the staff and residents of the Wellington Institution
for the Insane. Back by popular demand, they approached the isolated
New Mexican city at night. The weather was clear and calm at 72 degrees
with a slight 5 mph breeze from the southwest.
Like the
crash of hot thunder-rock through a Marshall stack,
Two
members of Moe Funk were mysteriously extracted through the side of
the tour bus. The violent abduction sucked out the side of the bus at
60 mph tragically killing all on board in a horrendous crash. The bus
careened off the side of the road in flames spewing guitars, roadies
and a half a case of Jack Daniels premium sipping whiskey into a roadside
ditch. The bodies of Greg Lime and Dave Taco, the founding members of
the Moe Funk band,
...were
never found.
A
Roswell police department spokesperson was quoted,
"the case was best left unsolved".
Finally!
The mystery is revealed! They have returned to Planet Earth in 2002
from deep space teaming up with Jason
Vegas as Spacecactus! They bring with them a fully
documented experience of time-travel, hard rock and Aliens! This is
their story…66 stink'n years later!
SO CO ME ON, LET'S
ROCK!
