One of a kind photo of the old Smacky's pub were it all started, in Texas of course. This photo was taken by State Farm insurance agents in 1937. In the night, drunken Mexican caballaros from a near by farming town decided to spray paint "Moe Funk!" at the entrance to Smacky's (visible in photo). Taco thought it was cool and later quit over the owner having it removed. As it turned out, several of the same Mexicans became dedicated and beloved roadies for Moe Funk's prison cult-band death-rock tours that took place in the late '30s and early '40s.
